I have been awarded Knowledge Transfer prizes in two consecutive years by the Faculty of Humanities at PolyU, recognition of sustained work to turn research into community, policy, and industry outcomes.
I led a partnership with research participants, community organisations, graphic designers, and a large health insurance company. Together we co-developed breast cancer awareness resources. The work won the Individual Award for Knowledge Transfer: Industry, Faculty of Humanities, PolyU (2025).
I co-developed printed and digital cancer awareness resources for Filipino and Indonesian migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. The resources are in multiple languages. They are endorsed and promoted by the International Organization for Migration (UN), the European Union Delegation in Hong Kong, relevant consulates, and workers' groups across the region. The work won the Individual Award for Knowledge Transfer: Society, Faculty of Humanities, PolyU (2024).
